Cern has not yet announced when it plans to carry out the first collisions, but the BBC understands that low-energy collisions could happen in the next few days. This will allow engineers to calibrate instruments, but will not produce data of scientific interest.

Dude its seems like a NATO conspiracy to End the world, our European counter-parts have a plan rivaling ours..:P

I am asking a special favor from all my professors, to extend all exam till the date is fixed from cern.

Guess what, it’s the tomorrow you thought would never come, and I’ve still got a pulse. The LHC will not kill us, we are more likely to be destroyed by a giant pancake from space.
